• Phase I of the airport has been developed at a total investment of around ₹11,200 crore under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

• The DGCA issued the aerodrome licence to the airport on March 6, 2026. After this approval, cargo and domestic flights were expected to start within 45 days, as per the project plan.
• PM Modi said that Noida International Airport will connect north India to the entire world and it will become an airport from where a flight will take off every two minutes.

Noida International Airport Jewar LIVE: Apart from PM Narendra Modi, the inaugration programme was attended by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, among others.
